Account & security

How you sign in, what is stored and how to delete it.

Signing in

Sign in with Google. You only share your email address; Google also tells us the ID of your Google account.

Your account is tied to Google’s permanent ID for you, not to your email address. If the email address of your Google account changes, your account and your reports stay.

Connecting Search Console

Access to your Search Console numbers is a separate step from signing in. Choose Connect Search Console and Google asks for one permission: read-only access to Search Console. Nothing can be changed in your Search Console from here.

Connect the Google account that has your sites.

To disconnect it, choose Disconnect Google and delete my data on the Connect Search Console page. The access is revoked at Google as well, and your sites and their data are deleted.

What is stored

  • Your email address and the ID of your Google account.
  • The Search Console numbers of the sites you added: clicks, impressions, CTR and positions, by day, query, page, country and device.
  • The settings and styling of your reports.
  • The access that Google gave the tool, stored encrypted.

Passwords are not stored. Google takes care of signing you in.

How your data is used

Search Console data is used only to show your own reports. It is never sold, never used for advertising and never used to train general AI models. Nobody reads your data without your permission, except when it is needed for security or required by law.

The data is kept in the EU. Everything about your personal data, and your rights, is in our Privacy Policy.

Security

  • You stay signed in with a secure cookie that scripts on a page cannot read, with protection against requests forged from other sites.
  • Google’s refresh tokens, which give lasting access, are encrypted in the database. When you disconnect a Google account, the access is also revoked at Google.

Deleting data

  • Remove a site: the stored numbers of that dashboard are deleted.
  • Delete your account: everything is deleted: your profile, the stored Search Console numbers, your settings and the connections to Google.

Deleted data cannot be brought back. It disappears from our backups within 30 days.
